Jennifer and Bradley Bishop
Jennifer and Bradley Bishop completed all fifty in Wisconsin in 2013. They are record holders for geocaching across the USA in one year including going to the geocaching headquarters, Groundspeak Lillypad in Seattle, Washington. They also attended two geocaching events on complete opposite sides of the country, one in Florida and one in Washington. They visited 48 states in their tiny Prius C over 9 weeks, and only flew Hawaii and Alaska out of the list. Jennifer shared, "We did it together, and while such intensive travel in such tight quarters can drive a wedge between people, it only brought us closer together."
On geocaching: "The really amazing thing about geocaching is that you truly can do it anywhere. We've treked across a drought-ridden piece of the Mississippi River, been to pineapple farms, hiked through thorn-riddled forests, and climbed trees 70 feet tall. We've stood in the shadow of Mt. Rushmore and on a corner on Winslow, AZ. We've even geocached in our birthday suits! Every mile was truly a milestone. If we had it to do all over again, there would be no hesitation.
